Real estate for People with Pets®
Finding a home isn't just about where you live. It's about where your whole family can thrive.
The philosophy
Your pets don't get a vote — so Kelly makes sure they're counted.
A move is a big change for animals. Unfamiliar spaces, strangers at the door, boxes everywhere. Kelly's approach keeps their safety and comfort in view at every step, from the first home search to the first night in your new place.
Her understanding comes from years of hands-on rescue work. As founder of PRONE — Papillon Rescue of the Northeast — she has been involved in rescuing more than 170 small dogs, and has seen up close how stress and change affect animal behavior.

Moving day with pets
Practical tips for a calmer day.
- 1
Set up a quiet room
Close off one room (or arrange a sitter) so pets are away from open doors and movers.
- 2
Keep routines steady
Feed, walk, and rest at familiar times as much as you can.
- 3
Pack a pet bag
Food, water, bowls, medications, leash, litter, bedding, and a favorite toy.
- 4
Update ID
Make sure tags and microchip details show your new address and phone number.
- 5
Introduce the new home slowly
Start with one space, then let them explore as they settle.
